Dr. Erin MacKimmie RN, ND
Dr. MacKimmie is a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) registered in Ontario, a registered nurse, and is certified and approved to administer intravenous therapy under the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Queen's University in 2004. A long-time interest in wellness and natural medicine led her to enrol at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where she graduated as an ND in 2008.
Prior to joining Hart & Sol Integrative Healthcare, Dr. MacKimmie completed internships with the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and Anishnawbe Health in Toronto, and worked for three years as an ND with NaturoMedic.com in St. Catharines. She has also worked as a home care and community health services nurse in the Niagara Region.
Dr. MacKimmie's special interests in naturopathic medicine include:
• treatments for allergies and food intolerances (she is certified in BioSET, a non-invasive allergy treatment)
• autoimmune conditions
• hormone imbalances
• digestive problems
• stress management
• women's health (e.g. menopause, menstrual issues)

• sleep disturbances
