Holly Letourneau, Naturopathic Doctor

Picture
Holly Letourneau is the Co-Founder and a Clinic Director of Hart & Sol Integrative Healthcare. She is a licensed naturopathic doctor with the province of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She is happy to be back in the Niagara Region and to be bringing naturopathic medicine to her community. She received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a specialist in Human Behavioural Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University of Toronto and then received her naturopathic doctor (ND) education from the four year post-graduate naturopathic medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario.

Prior to establishing Hart & Sol, Holly treated patients of all ages at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Canada’s largest naturopathic clinic located within the CCNM. She also practiced at the Sherbourne Health Centre in Toronto, Ontario, in a naturopathic clinic exclusive to people living with HIV/AIDS. Outside of Hart & Sol Integrative Healthcare, Holly has been involved in numerous HIV/AIDS research projects since 2003.

Holly uses all the naturopathic therapies (acupuncture, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy, laboratory testing, lifestyle counseling, nutrition, and physical medicine). She prefers a treatment strategy that utilizes a combination of naturopathic therapies that is best tolerated by the patient and is the most effective.

Holly’s special interests in medicine include:
  • Gastrointestinal disorders: irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, constipation, diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux disease
  • Women’s health: fertility, menstrual irregularity, premenstrual syndrome, menopause
  • HIV/AIDS: medication side-effect management, immune system strengthening, treatment of accompanying conditions
